Super friendly, super easy!

Super friendly, super easy, great business! Didn’t need to pre book, just turned up and rented a couple bikes and cycled the lovely trail through the woods. There were a couple parking spaces to park. Rachel was really friendly and knowledgeable about the routes you could take. We ended up cycling to Charlestown which is about 5 miles there 5 miles back. Great day out for anyone, including family’s. Highly recommend, good value for money too.

Helpful couple who own the cycle hire and good service provided. Maps were given to us with advice about the best routes to cycle, and colour coded based on off road route as well.

Amazing company with exceptional service

The world would be a better place if every company provided the quality of service that pentewan cycles provides. Rachael and her husband provided us with e bikes to explore Mevagissey and St austell area...we had a wonderful time. Beautiful area. Bikes in good condition, very reasonably priced...helmets and panniers and locks provided. Rachael gave us a gentle personalised introduction to the bikes. To top it all off they actually collected the bikes from our caravan !!!! We honestly couldn't believe it Can't recommend them highly enough...really lovely people too....thanks a million x

Superb Service, Highly Recommend.

Amazing service from Pentewan Cycle Hire. I suffered a broken chain whilst cycling out of Mevagissey towards Portmellon (my own bike). A passing local cyclist recommended them, saying they were really good. Pentewan Cycle Hire came and picked me up, fixed my chain, taught me how to fix it myself next time and sold me the tools to do it. I was back riding (six day tour the Cornwall) within two hours. Absolutely brilliant !!!

Excellent Family Outing

This is our third visit to Pentewan Valley Cycle Hire and we will definitely be returning. The booking process was quick and efficient with emails retuned very quickly. On the day our 10 bikes, 1 tag along and a child seat were ready and waiting for us. Rachel and Andy were extremely friendly and helpful with both advice on where to go and how to operate gears etc.

Nachdem wir mit Zug & Taxi in unserer Unterkunft in Carlyon Bay angekommen waren, stellten wir fest, dass wir dort ohne fahrbaren Untersatz ziemlich aufgeschmissen sind - keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit o.ä. In der Nähe. Auch Busse fuhren hier leider nicht. Da wir uns einiges ansehen wollten (Eden Project, The lost gardens of Heligan, etc) riefen wir beim einzigen Fahrradverleih weit und breit an. Andy & Rachel haben eine sehr große Auswahl an Rädern und sagten sofort zu, uns 2 e-bikes nach Feierabend in unser Hotel zu bringen (gegen eine kl. angemessene Gebühr). Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und die Räder hatten eine sehr gute Qualität! Wir haben damit 2 Tage lang die wunderschöne Gegend erkundet. Danach wurden die Räder wieder ganz unkompliziert abgeholt. Vielen Dank für den tollen Service an Andy & Rachel

Excellent service from the couple running the hire shop. Very helpful and friendly service and can't do enough for you. The cycle route is absolutely delightful too.

I emailed to confirm opening hours and received a quick friendly response from Rachel. I booked an electric bike and I had a choice of 3 on my arrival. Rachel cannot have been more helpful. Amazing customer service with great knowledge
