Firstly, check the website or call to confirm opening hours as some of the printed material I saw first had incorrect opening hours on it. Once there, it’s a great small museum with good displays, well arranged and laid out. Whilst most of the displays have Norwegian text only, there are leaflets in multiple languages that cover the key points related to each display. If not otherwise engaged, the attendant is also happy to explain the exhibits. They also had a great paper filled with interviews and quotes from locals about life and living in Gamvik, also full of great photos. Definitely worth the entrance fee. Highly recommended.
