I did the wheel class with one friend. The pottery teacher Kristina was amazing!!! She made me feel comfortable and like I had been doing it for years. My two bowls were ready after about two weeks and then we came in to paint them. Unfortunately the second time I came in, the employee was more focused on putting away product instead of explaining to me how to paint the pottery since it was my first time. She was on the phone and just handed me my bowl. I would have loved an explanation of what to do! However, they seemed short-staffed, so I opted to stay quiet and wait for my friend to arrive to tell me how to paint them since she had been there before. After I painted the bowls, the bowls were glazed and ready to be picked up after one week. I had so much fun! I also ended up going back a month later to paint a coffee mug! I had a blast! I'll be back again :)
I gave my wife a pottery wheel lesson for her birthday. Upon completion of her pottery projects she was told they would be ready for glazing in about two weeks. She called three times after two weeks and got the run around. She finally went in after six weeks from original lesson to find out what happened to her project. At that time she was told she couldn’t find them. (They refunded her money). Total waste of time and very disappointed.
