We enjoy this restaurant every time we are in Cambria. Quaint Italian restaurant with varied menu, good food, good service, nice staff. We love that there is an outdoor eating area, and indoor is not too crowded (healthy distancing), reasonable prices. We like the chicken piccata, but everything is good.
Super friendly staff. We ordered take out… pizza crust was like sauce n cheese on a cracker, pasta too soft as I prefer al dente. I wanted it to be, but Sadly, not good. The beet salad was yummy. There is room for improvement… maybe a chef consult?
Disregard Caren R's ill-informed and politicized "review" (below). Caren clearly has no grasp of fundamental economics or even reality: prices at Lombardi's have not "doubled"; actual US inflation over the previous 3 years averaged just over 3%; and the minimum wage law in California has not, per the Federal Reserve Board, had a significant impact on prices. Caren would be better served boning up on reality rather than watching Fox news and penning reviews which only highlight her ignorance. In any event, Lombardi's is a solid grade-B red sauce Italian joint. Food is reasonable; service is friendly. Prices are a little high but within reason for a tourist town in central California. Worth a return trip.
Yikes, prices have doubled. Of course the minimum wage law on CA and HUGE inflation the ladt three years is causing angst for restaurant owners and customers. We love Italian food and come here every time we visit. The clam Linguini had more of a Oregano taste than clams, but I saw lots of them in there. They specifically made shrimp scampi as per my son's request, husband had his usual chicken dish. Huge bowl of spamoni shared. The woman who greeted us and took the order was vivacious, welcoming. Another good dinner experience.
Basically the worst pizza I’ve had in a restaurant, I’d be embarrassed to serve a pizza so bad. A frozen supermarket pizza with too much cheese on it. Over priced poor quality. Friendly service though.
WE ordered a Pizza to go they burned the Crust. Amazing. How do you ruin a Pepperoni Pizza Pretty Sad since it was to go there was no going back
Gluten Free pizza was good. Portobello mushroom pasta was good. Salad was pathetic. Wilted leafs. Extra small. Soup arrived after dinner. Location was clean. Staff was pleasant enough. Won’t be returning.
We had one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had last night at Lombardi’s in Cambria. Really delicious. Good, friendly service, yummy food! I’ve been going here for years, and I recommend it.
MYhusband and I went for pizza but they have much more on their menu. The pizza was a little but of a wait but I think two larger groups came in before us. the crust was thin like we like and the pizza was yummy.
