Worst restaurant experience ever

Today a friend and I had lunch at Whiskey Rae’s, which is in Rochester Hills, Michigan. My friend ordered tenderloin tips, which were very grizzly and difficult to eat. When the waitress came with the check, my friend gave her his half-eaten portion and told her that the tips very grizzly and tough to eat. He asked to speak to the manager who then came to our table. He heard that the tips weren’t tender then proceeded to tell my friend why he was absolutely wrong about that order. My friend responded “I only half of it so half price would be fine.” The manager left and then returned with a bill half priced for the tenderloin tips. He then looked at my friend and told him to never come back to the restaurant. We were astounded by his reaction. We won’t be back and would like you to know about how we were treated at Whiskey Rae’s.”

If you like "woke" this is the place for you. Kimberly our server hates white men. I was there for 45 mins before she even cracked a smile. we were there for a farewell party for a co-worker. had two drinks each between 3-5PM. Someone in the group wanted to buy a fair well round after we cashed out. 10-15 minutes of waiting for Kimberly, we stopped her carrying empty glasses. she said I'll come back in a minute. from there I watched here stop at one table talk to the women there with time between that she stopped at a second table and brought them drinks. still waiting I leave the table and come back to find out she not only stopped back, but also said in that time that she was "too busy to take our order and if she had time might stop back". So, if that's what you are looking to pay for with 10% inflation and 20% gratuity this is the place for you. me? I'll be taking my money elsewhere.

This place was recommended to us to try out. We were not disappointed! The service was great, we enjoyed our drinks and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. I would definitely return!

We went to Whiskey Rae's after a winter weekend evening downtown Rochester event. It was away from the big crowds and we got a table right away. The waitress was extremely pleasant and made good recommendations for food and drinks. Really good service! We watched a football game on a big screen while eating, and the noise level was reasonable. I had the chili and my husband had the large burger - tasted good! We'll definitely return.
