Zephaniah Farm Vineyard的点评
点评：It’s two days in a row that Pride in the Vines has brought Jo and I to a special winery experience. In this case it wasn’t our first visit but things were much different this time.
The first time we visited Zephaniah Farm Winery was probably a decade ago and they had no tasting room. We had our tasting in the basement of their home, a very personal approach. Although they now have a beautiful Amish tasting room, we were still greeted by Bonnie at the door and throughout our seated tasting we had the pleasure of being entertained in conversation with Bill who explained both the history of the farm and the metamorphosis of his vineyard. It was every bit as personal as our first visit.
The wines are top notch, the 3 whites and the 4 reds we tried were all excellent. Jo, the white wine drinker even enjoyed the Chambourcin. We will be drinking that bottle this evening! Thanks once again to Visit Loudoun and their Pride in the Vines program for reminding us of this gem of a winery. We will be back soon.
