Cross Sound Ferry Lighthouse Cruises的点评
点评：Made reservations easily and bought tickets online ahead of time.
Note; I needed handicap parking but left my placard at home but they were nice enough to let my husband drop me off close to ticket office and he went and parked across street at parking garage due to lack of terminal parking.
Check in at the ticket office is outside and clearly marked with super friendly staff. Restrooms nearby if needed before you board while waiting.
Covered area near the boat to wait before you board.
Once on board we made our way to the middle level and went outside to the seats on the covered side area. I highly suggest sitting on the starboard (right) side as there we a few things we wouldn’t have seen had we been on the opposite side. Although the ferry does a great job of circling the attractions so both sides see them.
This was an August day of 90 degree weather and it still does get chilly on the boat a portion of the time when traveling.
The history of the attractions were very interesting although somewhat hard to hear due to the wind noise and poor speakers. I did hear after the cruise there were individual listening devices that could have been requested.
It’s a great way to spend a couple of hours and travels a good distance and sees many sites. I highly recommend this sightseeing cruise. Staff were all very friendly.
