点评:I had a mixed experience. This indoor pool feels like stepping back into 1987. After purchasing our tickets we were told that once we scanned them we had 90 minutes inside and not a minute more. You must scan the same paper card (paper...in a wet pool environment 🥴) to exit, so they charge you to leave if you are a minute over. You must go up a tiled spiral staircase to get to the pool. It is both slippery and inconvenient. There is an elevator but it appeared to be out of service. Everyone enters through the Eingang into a gender neutral changing room. From there I was completely lost until someone helped me. The changing rooms have two doors. You enter through the front to change clothes and then exit through the back into a locker room. Make sure you lock both doors while you're changing because this is also how you exit. Also make sure you unlock both doors or you lock people out of coming or going. The lockers are an additional 2€. From the locker room you walk to a gendered shower room and then out into the pool. Super confusing. There are three indoor pools and an indoor slide. The outdoor pools were closed this summer for renovation but it didn't appear much had happened, or even started. There is a lap pool, a shallow pool and a toddler splash area with a slide and squirting hippo head. There is also a bubbling warm pool...not a hot tub. The entire floor is slippery tile and I watched quite a few kids slip and hit their heads. I understand that it is for ease of cleaning but there are non-slip tiles available. I have them in the bathrooms of our rental here in Germany. My kiddo liked the shallow pool and did her swim lesson there. My main issue came from interaction with the lifeguards and management. My kiddo was in the splash pad area. She splashed another child and made him cry. She was playing and didn't intend to upset him but he didn't like it so I sent her back to apologize. As she approached, that child's father pushed her and screamed "get away from us!!!". The other parents were very shocked, as was I. My daughter began to cry. I didn't want to confront this man for touching my child and causing her to cry so I went to the lifeguards. They did nothing. They didn't even talk to the other parents who witnessed it. They told me that we should stay in the splash pad and that he could stay in the shallow pool to avoid interacting. He pushed my kid but my kid was the one restricted from going wherever she wanted to swim. The manager did not care, either. I am not German and did not want to make a scene, but I was horrified that an adult man was permitted to yell at my child and put his hands on her without any repercussions. I understand that my child caused his child to cry because she splashed him, but he is an adult who PUSHED my child and yelled at her so she cried. Witnessed.
There are no security cameras to monitor all areas of the pool. The lifeguards sit in a glassed-in booth and oversee the shallow pool, lap lane. They cannot see where the slide dumps people into the lower pool, the cannot see the splash pad or the warm spa pool. In my two days there I only saw one guard circulate one time. In 7 hours of being at the pool, one guard walked around one time. They do not lifeguard at this pool like I am accustomed to in the States.
My one negative experience with another patron and the lack of response from the employees has left me with negative feelings about this pool. The pool itself is a solid ok. Old. Mostly clean. Confusing to access the actual indoor pool but once you know you're fine. Not very expensive for a rainy day to pass the time. Don't expect too much. Watch your kids and keep them from drowning. If someone says something nasty to your kid, don't ask for help, just come to your own kid's defense.
