点评：Went for the first (and last) time to Hog Island today. Initial impression is good and lively, but don't be fooled. It is all appearance, which you will figure out after waiting almost an hour and a half for your crappy food.
I first waited in line at the bar for over 20 minutes to order, and then the food did not arrive (they give you a buzzer to alert you) for another FIFTY-FOUR MINUTES. I know exactly because the time I placed the order was on the receipt.
The Caesar salads were lukewarm, greasy, and limp. The rest of the food was cool and soggy except for the Firecracker Shrimp (so I guess everything else sat on the counter for 45 minutes waiting for the shrimp?)
Absolutely terrible experience -- I will not only NEVER come here again, I will not even buy this stupid beer at the store again. Clearly the owner is so greedy that they let people sit even though they have no chance of possibly serving them. I would rather a honest restaurant turn me away so that I can go elsewhere and try them again another day rather than waste a whole afternoon for wrong temperature food that cost $250 for a party of 5 (and only 2 adults.)
