Alligator feeding shows and lectures and snakes too!

点评：Check the shows out! They have shows on feeding the alligators, lectures on the snakes and other topics. About five shows a day. We got there about 3 pm and the only show left was the alligator feeding show. We watched that and listened to the alligator lecture and it was fascinating to see the alligators eat up close and then growl at each other over territory. The poisonous snake display was a huge island with snakes all over it and then mice running round, hiding and climbing trees to hide. One snake was climbing a tree slowly to look for mice. It was hot outside at the outdoor displays, but you can go back inside to the inside displays and see the snakes they have on display or look around in the gift shop. You can buy cold bottled water and soft drinks in the gift shop. They have some cool t-shirts also. Parking is free. I recommend at least two to three hours and try to see 1-2 shows or lectures - we learned a lot about alligators!
