An indoor bird prison. None of us enjoyed it.

点评：We went primarily to see a shoebill, expecting to see it in something of a natural 'bird park' environment, To call it a bird park is a stretch. All the birds are indoors in a large glass house. First thing we saw was a range of magnificent large owls and birds of prey, individually contained in a row of very small glass fronted cages, not much bigger than the birds themselves. It was all quite sad. One of the worst sights was a kookaburra locked inside an even smaller cage inside one of these glass 'tanks'. It looked so miserable and in poor condition. The large fish pond was quite interesting and a bit of an outdoor area with ducks but that was about it. We have been to wildlife parks before and this one just seemed from a bygone era. Best avoided if you don't want to see a bunch of magnificent animals locked up for our viewing pleasure.
