点评:We had such a lovely visit to the house last Sunday. Visiting the homes/birthplaces of writers that we like is something we like to do on a regular basis but never have we felt so welcomed and relaxed as we we were on this visit. We were able to explore the house in complete freedom taking as much time as we wanted. We visited the house assuming that Swansea (or Wales) would be proud to show off the birthplace of an internationally loved and respected son - and keen to encourage pilgrims so were amazed to discover that the property has been restored and is open to visitors largely due to the determination and commitment of one man, Remarkably he will also give you an introductory talk and, if you book in advance, serve you tea and Welsh cakes in the Thomas's very own sitting room. Amazing! The whole house is very atmospheric - but particularly the very small room where Dylan at an early age sat and wrote many of the poems that made his name. It felt like a very special experience and we drove home feeling very happy. Why are you still thinking about it - just go!
