I booked this for my dad’s birthday as a family outing and it didn’t disappoint-Andrew was very helpful when I emailed him many months before to make a booking.
Be aware this doesn’t run if it’s bad weather so have a back-up plan. However although we booked beforehand I’m pretty sure that you could walk up and hire a canoe on the off chance.
We hired 3 canoes for 6 of us for 2hours.
There was a variety of routes you could take covering an hour upto 3hours,depending on your route this could include a pub or picnic stop or the scenic route where you could see otters if you were quiet (we were too noisy but the route was still pretty with lots to see)
It was great fun,beautiful scenery and Andrew was very helpful at helping us decide which route to take.
On arriving back the birthday boy was treated to a few beers to takeaway by the company,a really nice touch,very thoughtful and made his day.
