点评:This is the only streetcar and subway museum in Ontario. We purchased our tickets over there at the building that is a souvenir/ gift shop and mini snack bar for $25 adults. There are also washrooms in the building. It was a Saturday at 10:30. And there was quite a bit of people here for that time of the morning. We rode all 3 different streetcars and there are guides telling you about the history of the streetcar. I like that they’re dressed in different conductor uniforms. The ride was fairly long but not fast and they run every 30 minutes. They stop at the ice cream shop and it’s in a streetcar. We got 2 cones for $7 ($3.50 for single and $4.50 for a double) even though we ordered single she gave us a lot. She was a sweet lady by the name Pauline and she’s worked there for over 20 years. When will you ever get the chance to have an ice cream cone on a street car? You can sit outside on the patio chairs if want. There was a frog pond but we didn’t see any frogs. You have to wait here to get the streetcar back. We went into the large museum at the front and it has lots of old streetcars and subways from different time eras and subways that you can enter. It felt very nostalgic. I really enjoyed this building. Also a few store fronts upon entering. There is a little play area with little houses for the kids. We spent 3 hours here. The staff here are all friendly. The website doesn’t do it justice. It’s worth a visit.
