点评：I hiked this trail successfully on Feb 10, 2024. I am in reasonably good shape and go hiking on weekends often. I would worry about people with less experience or who are not in the best shape however. It was about 2 degrees Celsius. If it was truly cold it would be a big problem for most people. The rock corridor near the top that you have to climb through seemed unsafe with snow and ice. See photo. Keep in mind that going DOWN this stretch especially requires EXTREME CARE.
Make your personal judgement call as to whether to hike this trail in the winter. Also keep in mind that the drive to this place is quite the chore. Be sure to gas up before turning off the highway, and buy the parking permit which is $18. Lastly, there are no washrooms around the parking lot area. Possibly there were at the park office further down the road.
The views at the top were nice of course. Be your own judge if this is right for you.
