Amazing Walrus Safari

点评：We signed up for the Walrus Safari several months ago. We were so excited, and then they emailed us 2 days in advance that the walrus had moved out early this year. Boo. But they offered an Artic Wildlife Safari instead. So we took it. And we were so glad we did!!!
And we got to see 2 walrus after all! We also saw about 20-25 Beluga whales swimming along with us. Then we went to see a glacier. We were able to get up close. It was such a beautiful sight. So blue. There were lots of birds to see, including many puffins.
We also had a delicious lunch with amazing salmon, meats, cheese, and Russian chocolate cookies. It was really a great day.
A few notes- they supply dry suits with boots to wear. But you still need to dress warmly. A buff was a lifesaver for me. The suits are not easy to get in and out of, so don't drink much that morning. We were out for 6 hours. It was very tiring but super fun.
Communication with them was very good. We did have to send an international bank transfer to pay in advance, which was not that easy.
We would highly recommend the tour. 5 stars
