Awful, scammy experience.

点评：This was a terrible experience. First they did not tell us they didn’t accept card and when we were trying to to figure things out “queen” locked the gates and wouldn’t let us move until we figured out how to pay. It was very uncomfortable and made me feel unsafe and unwelcome. We were able to get cash and then we began.
We walked in. Saw 6-10 plants with minimal explanation then sat with “king” who told us about drumming for a few minutes.
Then we sat in the sun for an hour until other guests arrived. Very unorganized. We cooked one tiny pot of coconut milk and vegetables and fired some bammy to make a snack—no respectable person could call it a meal. Then listened to a gentleman speak about the community history for about 20 minutes—he was nice and good, in contrast to “queen.”
Overall this was an overpriced poorly done experience. Would NOT recommended. $150 per person for this is a joke. It should be $25 dollars. I would rather donate $150 to a community than get scammed into it and waste 4 hours of our vacation. We initially wanted to go to Stush In The Bush and I deeply regret not going there instead. My friend went there instead and really enjoyed it.

It hurt my heart because this was for my mom’s 70th birthday and they may have put me off of the island all together. I won’t be back to Jamaica for a while and this will be one of the main reasons. Buyer beware.
