A pleasant afternoon gaining some valuable knowledge

点评：We were shown around the vineyard by Allen who was very keen to tell us all about the journey and how they have become successful today. It was really interesting to hear all about their grapes and how they produce their wine. We learned some valid tips (just having a few grape vines in our garden which will be really useful for the coming years (!!) One thing I would mention is only for people with possible mobility issues, the vines are on quite a steep hill which is uneven, so be aware of this to check you will be able to manage this before booking. We enjoyed the tour and the tasting afterward. The wine wasn't my cup of tea (but that is no reflection on them, just my tastebuds). However, we had a tour booked for 2 pm, and on our arrival noted we could sit and have a glass of wine and they did cheeseboards. Unfortunately, this closed at 2.15 pm so we couldn't sit and have a glass of wine after we had finished had we wanted to. What we think could be really beneficial, would be to offer the option to purchase a cheeseboard to have during your tasting session because we think this could have dramatically influenced our taste and of course ultimately could have meant we had bought some wine upon departure. Unfortunately, this wasn't to be. Otherwise, no complaints, it was a good afternoon and we are now going to visit some other vineyards to further enjoy the wine-tasting experience.
