点评:We used Terra Quechua Peru for the Lares trek to Machu Picchu for 4 days, we loved it and enjoyed every second. The guide was very helpful and the chef was amazing. Everything was very organised and we were well looked after.
We trekked through the mountains, with camping stops along the way.The altitude is tough, about 4,500m on the highest passes we did, you walk through the landscape, pass small cottages and usually camp near small villages.
If it's not cloudy, you'll get some of the most amazing clear skies. There are many opportunities to interact with the Quechua locals, especially the children who will gratefully accept small gifts. I recommend bringing something that is more educationally beneficial, such as pencils or books, rather than plastic toys.
It is a humbling, breathtaking and often challenging hike, and I am very glad I was able to do this as part of the hike, as it seemed much less commercial and much more peaceful.
