It’s not a Spa! Honestly it’s not a spa!

点评：This review is for the “Spa” only. Now I have to say from the beginning this “Spa Day” was brought through WoWcher so I did set my expectations low.
The approach to the “spa” is well presented with lovely manicured gardens and a view of the Malvern Hills to die for. The reception is small but clean and uncluttered.
The issues started when we were given our towels, dressing gown and flip flops(so when we walked in)Then shown into the world’s smallest changing room. Where the windows were wide open(no privacy) as the “owner” likes to keep the air conditioner off to save “energy”. I was told by the manager that there is a remote for the air conditioner and we should have asked to turn it on(here’s a hint if you have a changing room that you know is hot and have opened the windows, how about the staff use their initiative and turn on the air conditioning.
After changing we went to the swimming pool which was clean and plenty of sitting. But where were the other Spa facilities? Well the Sauna which could sit 4 comfortably and 6 people intimately, had a broken light no timer(should you not be aware how long you are sitting in their) and a funny little heater thing in the corner which was making a disturbing noise which finally drove me out. The Steam room was again very small, but looked ok but had a funny smell so I bypassed.
The only water is in the room by the swimming pool(you have to go through the reception and pass the men’s rooms).
The jacuzzi is out of order and has been out of order for 3 months. When I queried I was told by the receptionist I should have been informed when I booked. However I as I sit here and write this review I have heard the same receptionist book 2 different “Spa” days and not inform any of them that the jacuzzi is not working sssoooo….
So essentially we booked a spa and got a swimming.
Admittedly we have just been given 3 free spa days passes “because the jacuzzi is out of service” or or could be because I questioned the lack of air conditioning in the changing room to the manager, then proceeded to write this review.
The staff are adequate and are responsive, but the facilities are basic and this place really shouldn’t be called a spa.
Oh also I think there is 1 therapist so don’t expect to get an appointment
