点评:This was a nice little house museum. Some places it's called Fort Crailo, but it's not a fort. Our guide said that probably came from it being a "fortified" house, as in, it has gun ports. Those were pretty cool. The house itself was interesting, especially the "jambless" fireplace. Our guide explained that the Dutch had to be careful about how much weight they had in their houses back home, lest the house sink, so eliminating two of the fireplace sides helped solve that problem. When they came to America they did the same thing. The house was full of early memorabilia and information on the early Dutch settlers in the area and their contributions to the area. Did you know you can thank the Dutch for waffles?
Easy to find parking on the street. Guided tours are the only way to see the museum, offered on the hour. Well worth the $5 admission cost.

很容易在街上找到停车位。导游服务是参观博物馆的唯一方式,按小时提供。 5美元的入场费非常值得。
