Snowboarding Lessons!
Winterplace Ski Resort的点评
点评：My sister and I took the group snowboarding lessons at Winterplace, and it was amazing. Our first lesson was yesterday (I'll update my review as we go) and our instructor, Leela, was so cheery and fun. We learned the basics of snowboarding, and at the end of the lesson, we had free range over the slopes. Along with our dad, my sister and I explored the easiest trails. Our favorite was one called "Country Roads", a winding one through some trees. It was good, but there was a steep downward slope (which was NOT a trail) right next to the path that seemed a bit dangerous. I hope Winterplace builds some sort of snow barrier between the trail and the 'cliff' to make it a bit safer.
The staff inside the food court were nice and the food was OK (they had mostly greasy foods like pizza and burgers, but that's to be expected). I understand that keeping a huge place like that clean is difficult, but the bathrooms felt a bit dirty: the stall handle was sticky and the mirror was streaked.
Other than that, we felt quite safe, comfortable, and had a lot of fun. Our lesson was enjoyable and informative, and we're excited for our second one next week!
