Our adventure began in Sigiriya, where we explored the stunning Sigiriya Rock, taking in its rich history and breathtaking views. Our stay at Pahana Village Resort was the perfect escape, offering tranquility amidst nature. We also immersed ourselves in the local culture, learning about traditional herbalism, wood carving, and paint-making—a unique and enriching experience.
In Nuwara Eliya, we enjoyed a thrilling speedboat ride on Gregory Lake, followed by a delightful horse ride through the lush countryside. We visited a tea factory to learn the secrets behind Ceylon tea and explored a strawberry farm, picking and tasting the freshest strawberries. One of the most memorable moments was boarding a train together for the first time, traveling through picturesque landscapes on our way to Ella.
Ella was pure magic. I wore my wedding dress to the iconic Nine Arch Bridge and captured beautiful memories at the Ella Swing, making it a truly special moment of our honeymoon. Our adventure continued in Colombo, where my husband had a blast go-karting on his own, adding a bit of fun and excitement to our trip.
From the scenic vistas to the unforgettable experiences, our honeymoon was everything we had dreamed of. It was a perfect blend of history, romance, and adventure, and we are forever grateful for the thoughtful planning that made it all come together. We will cherish this journey for a lifetime!
