A must see if you enjoy late 19th and early 20th century Alabama history

点评：Driving to Tallahassee when I came across this museum on the side of the road. I am so glad that I stopped. While I really enjoyed the main museum building, I was particularly interested in the outbuildings - school, homes, barns, etc. They impressed me because of their authenticity; they were not shined and polished to look nice, but rather presented the way they would have been in the late 19th century. That was what life was like back then. So I liked the authenticity and presentation; the signs added to my education.
But I reserve a special commendation to Jasmine who helped me understand local history in her county; as a young person, she had a genuine interest in history and shared much with me that you would not necessarily read in a book. Plus she recomended Troy's BBQ which proved to be a real treat as well.
If you want to see authentic late 19th and early 20th century history, this is a must see.
