点评:Rosemoor is a lovely place, a benefit to the are and a joy to visit. there are always wonderful plants and trees to enjoy.
Sounds like a great review doesn't it?
It should be sn great review but it's not because one of us had mobility problems.
That person did not need or want to rely on the mobility carts provided. They just wanted to walk in the gardens like anyone else (albeit with help). How are they supposed to do that when they can't manage the steps down to the gardens and the management doesn't see fit to provide a handrail on the sloping ramps to help people with balance issues?
Feeling excluded from the gardens on the grounds of disability we looked at the plant centre instead. RHS Plants are always more expensive than elsewhere with the premium justifiable by the quality of the stock. Not this time - these dead or dying specimens needed a compost heap not a buyer. I know this is a terrible time of year for plants but why are they still on sale?
Let's hope things improve at Rosemoor because we want to love this place. But it's doing itself no favours right now.
