点评：We booked a guided tour in Jordan which took us to Wadi Rum, Petra and the Dead Sea areas. As part of the Wadi Rum leg of the trip we had a brief stop here. The petroglyphs were tricky to see at first but our guide showed us some and the more interesting examples in the area. He also explained the importance of the wadis to the people of the area and how they find some water.
During this part of the tour we also stopped at Lawrence's Spring, a land bridge and stayed overnight for dessert camping. We enjoyed the experience and would recommend you check out Wadi Rum if you ever find yourself in Jordan.
You have to pay an admission fee before entering Wadi Rum but if you are staying in Jordan for at least three nights you can purchase a Jordan Pass which provides entry to many of Jordan's premier attractions and also waves the visa on arrival fee. The Jordan Pass was a good investment and we felt we saved a lot of money with it.
