点评:If you are looking for a beautiful white sand beach that stretches for miles and miles without the crowds, this is your place. We spent the day walking the beach, collecting shells and sun bleached sand dollars - you will find some of the largest, most beautiful shells here, and if you look closely you might even find a sand dollar or more washed up on the shore. We first walked the shore past the welcome center toward the military base (just over 1 mile each direction). On this part of the beach we found the most sand dollars and shells and saw only one or two people out walking dogs. The restrooms were very clean and the pavilion with picnic tables is a nice spot to have a snack and use the facilities. There were a few fishermen sitting along the canal fishing here too. After walking this section we drive into town and parked at Sunset Park near 19th St and walked the beach from this location as well. Here we were the only people on the beach and again there were plenty of nice shells in the surf and being washed up on the beach. It was a relaxing day enjoying the white sand, the surf, seashore and solitude. Great choice for a more quiet beach.
