Strawberry Fields Lifton Farm Shop的点评
点评：Ok the produce in the farm shop looks good and fresh, however it is so over priced I couldn’t believe it! One so called large raw baking potato was a £1. All the fresh produce I looked at was way too expensive. I understand that as small growers their prices will be higher than the supermarkets, but surly not this high? They claim their produce is mostly grown by them, or close by, so they shouldn’t be incurring massive transport costs, so why rip us off? Sadly much of the shop has become a gift shop. It no longer has the feel of a farm shop, but feels more like a theme park with its other attractions going on. Such a shame that this place calls itself a farm shop when they have diversified so much that the locally grown fruit and veg feels like an expensive afterthought.
