点评:We met Harsh at the Shaleen Elegance Home Stay. He asked us what type of hike we would like to do and we wanted a sunset hike which started at 3.30pm and ended around 7pm. He accommodated all of our needs and his main goal was to make sure we were happy with what we were going to do. Harsh was so knowledgeable and informative on the different plants/trees and their benefits. He showed us claw marks and which animals had left paw marks - it was fascinating. He had such a gentle and kind soul, I loved his outlook on life and he just wanted to protect nature and look after the people. We took a few breaks to chat and look around. When we got to one stop, he told us about the tribe that were kicked out of the mountains by the government and now they live just by the entrance in slums. He said 30% of the money we pay goes to the school so they gave give blankets and books etc to the children. It’s better than donating money to a fundraiser as he said you know the money is going to good use. If you’re thinking of going on this hike, we would highly recommend. The experience from start to finish was unforgettable and will be one of the highlights of our 5 month trip.
