Worth the walk to this quiet spot
Yeh Mempeh Waterfall的点评
点评：It’s rare to find anywhere in Bali that there aren’t crowds of people when you arrive. This waterfall on the north coast, near Tejakula is a spot which is unspoilt. We were told it was an easy 30 min walk, I’d call it medium difficulty.
We are family of 2 teen boys and parents over 50 with reasonable fitness. It’s mostly uphill to get there and at times it was narrow and wet.
We paid a guide 20K to tell us about the local plants and their medicinal uses, rather than 8K for a ticket to walk ourselves.
He was knowledgeable and entertaining.
There are multiple places along the way where you can grab a cool drink, including an Aussie run vegan cafe. (With Aussie prices, but yummy).
The waterfall was declared ‘aggressive’ by those of us who stood under it to cool down.
