点评：In Srinagar, the tourist centre advised us that river rafting was good in Sonamarg and in Pahalgam. We decided to go to Sonamarg. We found a driver at the standard price, and he drove us north to Manigam, where we saw a rafting operation. Manigam is only about a third of the way from Srinagar to Sonamarg, so I told him we want Sonamarg. The total was almost two hours. But there was no rafting in Sonamarg. Crowds of tourists were horseback riding around the meadows and glaciers there.
So we drove all the way back to Manigam and took our rafting experience there. It was excellent, and we were very pleased. However, because we arrived so late after our futile drive up to Sonamarg, the two of us had to pay for the full boat. There were no others to pair up with. It was only a bit more than two single rides would have been.
