A little unknown gem of market Rasen. Well worth a visit.
Special Edition Chocolate的点评
点评：I had previously been to a WI talk from Alan about his chocolate products, and also sampled some of the many different flavors of chocolate, in milk plain and white chocolate. The chocolates are best tasted like a good wine, slowly melt in your mouth to let the different levels of flavors come through. You can sample before you buy to find your desired flavour or combination of flavors.
Pauline and Alan are friendly and welcoming to their chocolate shop, even our dog Daisy was made welcome, but no chocolates for her. ;)
We enjoyed their hot chocolate and coffee which was served promptly and both were delicious, Pauline invited us to sample a truffle, which they had many flavors, and were scrumptious. The "Chocolate Drop" which is the name on the signage on the main road directing you to the shop was easy to spot, and car parking was easy to access just behind the shop.
There a lots of moulded chocolates and cater for the forthcoming season which was Easter at our time of visit. Pauline talked through their year of events, christmas being their busiest of times, as they do supply a few specialist shops, but you can also order online. I belive you can also have a tour of their factory, which I would like to do on my next visit, and yes there will be a next visit and more purchases, I'm very sure. Thank you to Pauline and Alan for a lovely experience. See you again when I've eaten all my purchases.
