点评：The reviews on here are very varied, but this is my experience from last night. We paid for the discovery tour and I wasn’t quite sure what that included. We rushed to be inside a lecture room for 730 and the lady was well meaning that it was a waste of time. They told us how they respected the land of the first people and they told us not to take photos otherwise it was a lot of time filling and not much information. It could’ve been so much better. We had gained all our information about the penguins and the experience from the amazing tall guy who had brought us down to the island. We were then ashes along to our seating area. This was worth paying for it was right by the front and we had good seats. The penguin started coming out and they are tiny and quite far away and we were slightly underwhelmed by this. Plus beware it is freezing cold and windy. We then left and looked along the boardwalks and this was the amazing part of the experience. The noise and activity of all these cute little penguins in borrows and moving about was fantastic. They sell way too many tickets. It was far too crowded. They weren’t controlling the people taking photos and lots of people were which is so annoying. I was upset because I spoke to somebody who works there and pointed out a couple of people taking photos and he shrugged his shoulders and said he was busy with a tall group which I thought was very poor. The reason not to take photos is that flash and open phones screen lights damage the eyes of the penguins.
