Not up to Finger Lakes NY tasting experience

点评：This was our first visit to a southern CA winery, so nothing else in the region for comparison. So… this was NOT what I was expecting.
On the positive, the view was pleasant in the outdoor seating area. We tasted the red wines and they were generally pleasant, though not great.
We are from Finger Lakes NY area and so are accustomed to a different tasting experience. So here are my ‘negative’ views.
1. No attempt by staff to talk about their wines and when a question was asked staff not certain. We received four (4) one (1) ounce pours, with the only recommendation being get your whites before the Reds.
2. Really, $25 pp for 4-6 oz of okay wine!
3. Staff failed to give a ‘tasting card’ so some confusion for them as to how many pours we had after the first. They gave us the card at the third pour.
In summary, I wouldn’t recommend to a friend. But maybe this is the norm for a California tasting experience. Gosh I hope not.
