点评：THE 'BEST' KEPT SECRET- PUGET ISLAND, History, Charm & Smiling Faces. everyone waves - wave back.
Meander across 'THE GATEWAY BRIDGE' to the Island, WELCOME to my piece of Heaven - Country Charm, PUGET ISLAND - If you have a Scouter, Bike, Pushbike, Motorcar, along as its licensed !! the roads form a clover pattern, you won't get lost.
The first Stop sign over the bridge go left to the Island Creamery, Angus Beef, and Creamy Butter. Track back to Hwy 409 - go to Columbia River Ranch great for Children to see the action of a working ranch stay a while - Air B&B. Make sure you have a backpack as in summer the excess fruit or vegs are often seen on the side of the road with a 'FREE' sign.' Giggle' a little and ' Laugh ALOT'. Great Marina access on the Island year round, easy to use. Watch out for the White Tailed Deer, and Cat Crossing's all over the Island.
The Island Manufacter's its own Smoked Salmon which you can buy at the Wonderful Cathlamet MARKET FRESH STORE, you will receive smiles of HELLO. Try the Guinness at the Brew Pub, you won't regret it, Meander to Friday's Farmers Market, Bring your Kayaks or have a tour from the local Columbia River Kayak Co, Hitch a ride on 'Oscar B' the Ferry to Westport, 25 minutes to Astoria, 25 minutes to Longview, 1.5 hrs to Portland Airport what could be better. Squealing of laughter is not prohibited.
