Spa at Holiday Inn Corby的点评
点评：Myself and a friend visited on Wednesday (18th Dec) for a Spa day that was bought for me as a gift by one of the members. It was a truly awful spa experience. We actually only stayed for a few hours in the end. We both used to be members so would never have purchased this ourselves and expectations weren't high, however I'm shocked by how terrible it actually was. Robes and towels are old and worn, it took 3 attempts to get a robe that fitted/ didn't look or feel awful. The facial was average, only 20 mins but beautician was nice.
Afternoon tea was horrendous, completely inedible - sandwiches were tiny fingers x 3 pp with a scraping of filling and stale bread. Sausage roll was a quarter each which had been microwaved and was greasy and soggy. The scones had been microwaved and were like rubber. Cakes were edible just nothing special. Would rate it a 0 if possible. Complained to the serving staff who didn’t charge us for the juices we had bought which was good of them, but there was no upsell on drinks or offer of alternate soft drinks for my friend who doesn't drink tea or coffee.
Steam room was cold, pool was cold, hot tub was cold and the pads on the loungers are the thinnest I’ve ever seen and water marked and dirty looking. General pool area still looks tired/grubby and the slippers we purchased are actually dangerous with how slippy they are on the floor - sauna was the only redeeming feature.
Original voucher stated a glass of bubbles and a £10 voucher but this wasn’t given and we would not have purchased any more food from here either way. Honestly the kitchen should be closed as the food is completely inedible, we left early as we were starving.
I wouldn't normally write an online review but have on this occasion as honestly the whole experience was terrible.
